Scaffolding safety net is one of the important facilities for safety protection in building construction. The setting of safety net should have clear regulations and requirements in the construction organization design. If the technology is complex, individual design should be made.

　　Scaffolding safety net type: The safety net is divided into two types: vertical and horizontal according to the hanging method.

　　1. Vertical installation of scaffolding safety nets Vertically installed external scaffolds are mostly used for high-rise building construction, and the outer side is covered with safety nets. Generally, safety nets woven with thin nylon ropes are used. The safety net should be sealed tightly and firmly fixed with the outer scaffolding.

　　2. Horizontal safety net Horizontal scaffolding safety net is mostly used for the outer scaffolding of multi-storey building construction. It is woven with hemp rope, brown rope or nylon rope with a diameter of 9mm. The general specifications are 3m wide, 6m long and about 5cm mesh. A well-supported safety net should be able to withstand an impact load of not less than 1600N.

　　3. Horizontal scaffolding safety net support method (1) Use the external wall window support method: the cross bar 1 is placed in the wall of the upper window and tied to the inner yoke of the safety net, and the cross bar 2 is placed in the lower window. The oblique rods outside the wall and the safety net should be kept old. The horizontal rod 3 should be placed in the wall and fastened to the horizontal rod 2. The distance between the oblique rods supporting the safety net should be no more than 4m.

　　(2) Use steel booms to erect scaffolding safety nets: steel booms can be used to erect safety nets on walls without windows. Holes are reserved on the wall, through which pins are inserted and wedged with pins. There are Ф14 holes on the Hanging boom safety net, the steel boom is Ф12 steel bar, about 1.56m long, with a hook at the upper end, and a hook is welded on the back of the hook to hang the safety net.

　　(3) Large-span scaffolding safety net on the first floor: The large-span safety net on the first floor can be erected with cedar braces, or one side of the net can be used.
